Check out from dorm rooms and the Hanover Inn is 12pm on December 17. Personal items MUST be removed from the dorm and hotel rooms by this time. Dorm rooms need to be cleaned prior to departure.If for any reason you need to leave early, you must contact a member of the Bridge staff as soon as possible. Your final presentation, a required component of the program, is that morning.

What Should I Bring?
We will provide all course materials and books when you arrive.
Please bring the following items with you:
• Backpack
• Study materials (pens, paper, folders, etc.)
• Laptop computer
• 1-2 business outfits (Suggested business professional attire: suitcoat/sport coat/blazer, button-down/dress shirt, tie, and dress pants/skirt)
Other suggested items:
• Winter gear - coat, boots, mittens, hats, scarves
• Umbrella/raincoat
If you forget any items, there is a CVS Pharmacy within a short walking distance from the Tuck Campus.

Dress Code Recommendations
The dress code for the program is casual however we recommend that you bring some business attire with you for specific occasions including the class photo, LinkedIn headshots, final capstone presentations, and interviewing with recruiters (if applicable).
We suggest the following attire for these specific events: suitcoat/sport coat/blazer, button-down/dress shirt, tie, and dress pants/skirt.
DARTMOUTH STUDENTS ONLY: Dartmouth has a fund that can help cover the cost of professional attire, for more information visit the Dartmouth 4E Fund website.

MANCHESTER-BOSTON REGIONAL AIRPORT (Manchester, NH): About 80 miles southeast of Hanover. Rental cars are available. BOSTON LOGAN AIRPORT (Boston, MA): About 120 miles southeast of Hanover. Rental cars are available. From the airport, drive through the Callahan Tunnel, follow signs to I-93 north, then follow the "By Car" directions from Boston above.
Dartmouth Coach provides bus transportation from Logan Airport and from Boston's South Station to the Hanover Inn on the Dartmouth campus. For more information, see directions below.
BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL FIELD (Hartford, CT): About 150 miles, or 2-1/2 hours driving time, from campus. All rental car agencies are available as well as car service.
LEBANON AIRPORT: The Lebanon Airport offers daily service between Lebanon, N.H. and Boston via Cape Air. The airport is located about 10 miles from Hanover. Taxi service and rental cars are available.

From Boston:
DARTMOUTH COACH offers daily service to the Hanover Inn from Boston's Logan Airport and South Station (1-800-637-0123).GREYHOUND provides service to the bus station in nearby White River Junction, VT, about five miles from campus; taxi service is available. (1-800-231-2222).
From New York City:
DARTMOUTH COACH offers luxury motorcoach service between the Yale Club in Midtown Manhattan and the Hanover Inn (one stop in Stamford, CT). DIRECTIONS BY TRAIN
AMTRAK provides daily passenger service from Washington, Philadelphia, New York, and intermediate points to nearby White River Junction, VT, which is about five miles from campus; taxi service is available.LOCAL BUS SERVICE
ADVANCE TRANSIT is a local bus service that serves the Upper Valley region, including Hanover. All are welcome to ride the buses free of charge. Advance Transit also provides shuttle service around campus, including buses to and from remote parking lots. -

DAILY OVERVIEWHere is a typical day at Bridge (all times are approximate):
7:15-8:30 am: Breakfast, Byrne Hall
8:30–11:35 am: Morning classes (with AM break)
11:35 am–1 pm: Lunch and Career Development Programs
1–4 pm: Afternoon classes (with PM break)
5–7 pm: Dinner
7–10 pm: Study Group meetingsYou will be busy with homework, study group meetings, and review sessions in the evenings. During the program, you will work on a comprehensive valuation project. The project concludes with presentations on the last day of the program, right before the Bridge graduation luncheon.
In order to satisfactorily complete the program, you must attend all classes, contribute to study group work, and be present at the project presentations on the morning of the last day.
There is a closing graduation luncheon after the presentations. The program will conclude around 1pm. Family is welcome to attend the final presentations and the graduation luncheon. Please RSVP with the Bridge Program office if you plan to have guests on the last day.

Attendance Policy
Full participation in Bridge is expected and required in order to receive a completion certificate.
Attendance at class and study group meetings is mandatory, unexcused absences will not be tolerated.
In the event of illness or extenuating circumstances please notify a Bridge staff member prior to your absence. Students are also responsible for communicating absences to faculty, your BA, and study group, as well as completing any missed work. If your situation requires you to miss multiple classes, consult a Bridge staff member immediately.
Failure to adhere to this attendance policy may result in dismissal from the program without a completion certificate.
ON-CAMPUS INFORMATION

Meals
You will be given a meal card at registration. This card has an allocated amount of money on it that should last throughout the three weeks. If you use up your monetary allotment prior to the end of the program please see a member of the Bridge staff. Most meals will be eaten at Tuck's Byrne Dining Hall. Some meals will be at other locations or catered.
For weekday dining, Byrne Dining Hall at Tuck is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 7:30pm and Fridays from 7am to 5pm. Byrne Dining Hall is not open on Saturday or Sunday.
On the weekends and during off hours, your meal card can be used at Dartmouth's Courtyard Cafe (4 Wheelock Street, Hopkins Center for the Arts). The Courtyard Cafe is open 8am to 6pm every day for a la carte items.
No other dining halls will be open during the program.

Computing
COMPUTERS
We require each Bridge participant to bring a laptop computer with you when you come to Tuck. The entire Dartmouth campus, including Tuck, has wireless internet access.If you have any problems with your personal computer, the Bridge staff can provide information for local computer support. Loaner laptops may be available if your computer needs to be repaired.
CANVAS (Course Management System)
Prior to your arrival and during the program, you will be using a web-based course management system called Canvas. You can find most of your course materials and other resources on Canvas. Canvas will also be your main form of communication with your classmates and faculty and staff.You will be sent login information for Canvas prior to the program.
PRINTING
TuckPrint is the public printing system created to help control waste and improve printing services for Dartmouth students. You will be required to download the TuckPrint software onto your computer. Information will be shared when you receive Canvas access in the coming weeks.There will be printing stations throughout Tuck that you can print to from your personal computer once the software has been downloaded. Instructions will be found on Canvas. We will also run a TuckPrint workshop on the first day of the program. If you plan on extensive printing from your dorm room, we recommend that you bring a small personal printer.

Gym
You will have access to the Tuck Gym located in the basement level of the Whittemore residence hall. You will need to sign the waiver (found within the registration form) to get access to the gym with your campus access card.

Laundry
There are coin-operated laundry machines available in the Tuck residence halls. In Achtmeyer and Pineau-Valencienne machines are located in the second and third floor kitchens. In Whittemore there are machines located in the basement—your access card is required to open the door.

Alcohol & Drug Policy
On the registration form you will be asked to sign and submit an honor code form BEFORE arriving at Tuck.
All Bridge students are prohibited from possessing or consuming any alcoholic beverage, including beer, wine, spirits, or other alcoholic beverage, in any indoor or outdoor area of the Tuck campus, including the residence hall rooms, the courtyards, the classrooms, and the dining halls. Public intoxication is prohibited. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold, served, or consumed at social functions by or to Bridge students. These policies apply to all Bridge students, regardless of your age.
Bridge students are prohibited from possessing or consuming illicit drugs, including prescription drugs not prescribed for the student, in any indoor or outdoor area of the Tuck campus, including the residence hall rooms, the courtyards, the classrooms, and the dining halls.
Students found intoxicated, consuming, or possessing alcoholic beverages or illicit drugs on Tuck’s campus will be subject to disciplinary action by the Bridge Program Disciplinary Committee. In addition, any violation of Dartmouth College’s alcohol and drug policy by a Bridge student who is also enrolled at Dartmouth will be reported to the Vice Provost for Student Affairs of Dartmouth College.
Electronic cigarettes of any kind are prohibited in all Tuck buildings.

APPALACHIAN TRAIL
A 2,175-mile foot-trail running along the Appalachian Mountains from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Mt. Katahdin in Maine. In New Hampshire, it reaches the most exposed and difficult terrain in the entire journey and enters New Hampshire across the Ledyard Bridge in Hanover.LACORTE FITNESS ROOM AND GYM AT TUCK
The LaCorte Fitness Room and Gym is open from 6am to 12am. and is located on the ground floor of Whittemore Hall. It provides aerobic equipment, such as treadmills, an elliptical trainer, stair-climbers, and bikes, as well as circuit weights by Bodymaster. Users are required to sign a waiver of liability before using the center (found in the registration form). This facility is available to students, faculty, and staff.
