Business Bridge admits a highly qualified class of students regardless of financial circumstances. We offer need-based awards — including for first-generation students and those from specific institutions — distributed first to early applicants.
We can accept the following payment methods:
- Check, made out to Dartmouth College
- Credit Card, via the application portal (required for deposit)
- Sallie Mae, using the Tuck Business Bridge Program branch with school code #002573-98
- 529 accounts via check
Note: We cannot accept Direct Loans, as they don't cover certificate programs like Tuck Bridge; applications using them will be rejected.
Scholarships
Funded by Business Bridge, Tuck, and Dartmouth alumni, partner-institution alumni, corporations, and nonprofit foundations, scholarships help outstanding students attend who otherwise couldn't afford to. Scholarship funding is limited and not guaranteed — there is no separate scholarship application; students are automatically considered for available scholarships based on the information submitted in their Bridge Award application. Recipients write a letter of appreciation to their donor.
Bridge Awards
Awards go to admitted students who demonstrate need and will contribute significantly through classroom performance and leadership. After acceptance, students apply for an award; amounts vary widely and depend on factors like parental income, program cost, ability to contribute, and fund availability — applying does not guarantee an award, and award size is not guaranteed either. On average, awards cover up to 35% of direct costs (tuition, fees, meals, lodging), but individual awards vary depending on demonstrated need. Awards help offset direct costs (tuition, fees, meals, lodging). Apply early — awards are distributed as students apply. Bridge awards are separate from any institutional or federal aid for your degree.
Employer Support
Students with internships or job offers have successfully asked employers to cover some or all Bridge fees — employers benefit from the increased effectiveness Bridge students bring back to the job.
Institution-Specific Support
Some colleges provide institutional funding for Bridge participation — check with your campus career services office. Bridge may also offer supplemental scholarship funding to students at select partner schools, thanks to donor support.
Dartmouth Faculty and Staff Tuition Discount
Legal dependents of Dartmouth staff and faculty receive 25% off tuition (room and board excluded). The discount is reported as imputed taxable income on the employee's pay slip.
Additional Funding Options
Sallie Mae loans are available to help finance the program. Students may have access to funds that they have not even considered; many school's Financial Aid and Career Services offices often have funds for programs like Bridge, and many organizations like fraternities, sororities, foundations, or rotary clubs provide scholarships.
I was born and raised in the city of Chicago by my resilient immigrant parents. I am the first in my family to attend college. From corporate finance to marketing, I know that the skills I have attained from Tuck Bridge will be transferable to my career. I encourage other first-generation students to use Tuck as a resource and a bridge to the business world.

Though I brought to Bridge a broad set of skills, there was something I could not gain from my undergraduate education: a hands-on experience within the business world.
