Colby, Colgate, and Trinity participants are expected to attend all the in-person presentations. Open Enrollment participants are expected to attend the presentations in their allotted time block. There will be a 5 minute break between the presentations in each time slot. Guests watching via Zoom will be muted during the presentations.

Jonathan Godbout, Colby ’08 is a co-founder and the chief operations officer/chief technology officer of Prospector, Inc., an AI analytics platform that provides investment insights on mining companies. He has over 15 years of experience in product design, UX design, project management, data science, business transformation, analytics, and process improvement. He is an IBM Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a patent holder for a system that supports construction tasks. Jon started his professional career working for IBM. His first major engagement was working at the Task Force for Business and Stability Operations (TFBSO) focused on economic stabilization in Iraq and Afghanistan. The group aimed to encourage foreign direct investment and economic development as means of counter insurgency strategy. After his time at the Pentagon, Jon continued work at IBM and was part of Echoing Green, an organization that supports socially conscious startups.
Sunil Thakor, Colby ’99 is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Sands Capital Management, LLC. Sands is a concentrated, long-term oriented growth equity firm based in Arlington, VA. The firm manages over $50 billion across an array of long-only public equity and private equity strategies. The firm’s public equity strategies span both ‘aggressive/unconstrained’ and ‘quality’ growth styles, focusing on US, International, Emerging Markets, Global as well as multiple specialized strategies. Sands Capital serves a primarily institutional client base including pension, endowment, foundation, and sovereign allocators as well as multiple sub-advisory and mutual fund clients.
Sunil joined Sands in 2004 and co-developed each of the firm’s Global and International public equity strategies. Today these strategies collectively manage approximately $25 billion.
Outside of work Sunil has a personal interest investing in early stage better-for-you food and beverage businesses, with a focus on BIPOC and/or female founders. He is a current member, and former Vice-Chair, of the Colby College Board of Trustees, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the National Presbyterian School in Washington, DC. He is passionate about Maine and nature, spending as much time in the Belgrade Lakes as his schedule will allow.
Sunil earned his BA from Colby College in 1999 and his MBA from Columbia Business School in 2006. He and his wife, Kristin (’99), met at Colby and today live in Washington, DC with their three children ages 8, 10, and 12.

Pat Apelian, Colgate '76 is a principal at Westgate Partners, LLC, a financial restructuring and workout advisory services consultancy, as well as an active community volunteer (school board, church board, Colgate, and others). Pat and her husband, Iain, reside in Manhasset, N.Y. They have three grown children: Kate (Yale ’09), a consultant with McKinsey; Peter (St. Andrews ’12), a reporter for Fox News Digital and writer; and Jenny (Brown ’15), a banker at Barclays.
Pat began her service as an alumni trustee in Fiscal Year 2020 after extensive volunteer service and leadership within the Colgate community, including the Alumni Council and its executive committee. Additionally, Pat is a member of both the Women’s Leadership and Presidents’ Circle Membership councils. She serves as a Long Island alumni admission representative and Career Services volunteer and established the Apelian Endowed Scholarship. Pat was awarded a Maroon Citation in 2016.
Chris Caputo, Colgate '87, T'91 co-founded Trailmark (Fortress Group) as a successor to the business he established in 1998, Fortress Capital Corp., a merchant banking firm specializing in private equity investments and capital raising for private equity funds. Fortress Group was rebranded as Trailmark Inc. in 2019. Before 1998, Chris was managing director and co-head of the Private Equity Group at Bank Austria Group. During his seven years at Bank Austria and its predecessor, Creditanstalt, Chris was instrumental in developing a private equity placement and merchant banking business. Before Bank Austria, Chris worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. and began his career at Bear Stearns & Co. in the Corporate Finance Group. Chris received his BA in economics from Colgate and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Teresa Delgado, Colgate '88 is the Dean of St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at St. John’s University (Queens, N.Y.). Previously, she served as director of the Peace and Justice Studies Program and chairperson of the Religious Studies Department at Iona College. She earned her doctorate from Union Theological Seminary under Prof. Delores S. Williams. Teresa’s scholarship addresses diversity in higher education, ethics, and justice for marginalized communities. Her numerous published works include A Puerto Rican Decolonial Theology: Prophesy Freedom (2017).
Committed to advancing equity in theological education, Teresa mentors doctoral students of color and has served on the boards of the Hispanic Theological Initiative and the Wabash Center for Teaching & Learning in Theology and Religion. A senior fellow of the Ford Foundation, she is also active in social justice initiatives and serves on Colgate University’s Board of Trustees.
Danielle Fox, Colgate '91, T'96 is an experienced sell-side equity analyst who founded and runs an independent consulting firm, Research Fox LLC, based in New York City. Danielle has more than a decade of experience as a senior equity analyst covering hardlines retailing for Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan, plus several years of experience and formal training as a credit analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank. She brings in-depth knowledge of retail companies and a broad understanding of the consumer, achieved through rigorous financial analysis, proprietary studies, a wide network of industry contacts, and a keen grasp of macroeconomic drivers. She earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in economics from Colgate.
Yvonne Gyimah, Colgate ‘01 is an independent advisor in the M&A and Transformation space advising PE, PE portcos, and corporate clients. Yvonne is a former Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting Inc leading their carve-outs service offering within the Corporate Finance and M&A segment. Prior to FTI, she spent 16 years at EY Parthenon in their Deals Management team and a few years within their Financial Services Office. Prior to that, she worked for IBM Global Finance in Armonk, NY. While at EY Parthenon she led EY Parthenon's recruiting efforts for Colgate - helping to make EY the number one recruiter on campus at the time.
Jeff Oberg, Colgate '76, T'78 is a former commercial banker, investment banker, and wealth management executive who spent 37 years working in Boston and New York City with a number of firms, including Goldman Sachs, Citibank, First Boston Corporation, American Banknote Corp., and Charles Schwab/Windhaven Investment Mgmt. He worked in sales/marketing, senior executive, and financial analytical roles as well as being actively involved in campus recruiting efforts on behalf of many of the firms at which he worked.
Jeff graduated from Colgate in 1976. He was president and treasurer of ATO-PKT, played on the soccer and rugby teams, and was treasurer of the senior honor society. He received his MBA in 1978 from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Clarissa Shah, Colgate '10 is the senior director, legal as well as a business partner, and cross-functional collaborator at LinkedIn. She spent six years at Emerson Electric as a supply chain counsel. Clarissa received her JD and Master of Arts in East Asian Studies: Chinese Language and History in 2013 from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
At Colgate, Clarissa majored in Chinese with a minor in political science, graduated magna cum laude, played women’s rugby, received the Class of 1997 Award, and participated in the China Study Group. She was a staff member for the Office of Residential Life, a Chinese language tutor, and a member of the senior honor society. During her undergraduate years, Clarissa completed internships with the Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court, Judge David C. Mason; Facing History in Ourselves; and the U.S. Senate Office of Barack Obama, Washington, D.C.
Clarissa and her husband, Tushin ’10, reside in Chicago, Ill., and have two sons. Clarissa has two brothers who graduated from Colgate — Caden Polk ’12 and Charles Polk ’16.
Tushin Shah, Colgate '10 is the general counsel and chief operating officer for a family office that began in July 2021. Tushin was formerly a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Tushin was a philosophy major and went on to receive his JD in 2013 from Washington University in St. Louis. He participated in the Budget and Allocation Committee and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, and he was a residential adviser during his time at Colgate. He currently serves on the Presidents Circle Membership Council.

Kate Rausch, Trinity '08, Bridge '08 is is the Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs at Wave Life Sciences, a preclinical biopharmaceutical company in Cambridge, Massachusetts publicly traded since 2015, focused on unlocking the broad potential of RNA medicines to transform human health. Before Wave Life Sciences Kate was a Senior Equity Research Associate at Life Science Tools, Dental & Diagnostics in New York City.

Marc Aquila T'07's professional experience spans two boutique consulting firms, time at agricultural multi-national John Deere and higher education at both Columbia and Dartmouth. He has worked in operations, finance, marketing and is currently a career adviser at the Tuck School of Business helping students them with their career search and with employers to increase and diversify the internship and full‐time job opportunities available to students.
Blake Darcy is the Founder and former CEO of DLJDirect, an online brokerage firm. He took the company public in, what was then, one of the largest internet IPOs in history. He has served as a Founder, CEO, Chairman, Board member, Advisor and investor with numerous fintech companies around the world over the past two decades.
Peter Grieve T'84 is the Founder and Managing Partner of Windy River Group, a private investment firm with interests in banking, industrial technology, and professional soccer. He played soccer growing up and at the U.S. Naval Academy. After Tuck, Peter spent 25 years with Goldman Sachs, where he co-founded and led the firm’s largest private wealth management practice around the world.
